The Green Tech Data application is a B2B (mobile and web) platform used to document environmental installations and create environmental project evidence (ZKP), including for offset and ESG reporting purposes. We process the following categories of data:
a) User Data:
- First and last name
- Work email address
- Company name
- Job title
- Phone number
b) Installation and Project Data:
- Installation name
- Installation type (e.g., photovoltaic, LED)
- Installation location (address and/or geolocation data)
- Technical parameters of the installation
c) Evidence Data:
- Photos of installations
- Photo metadata (date, time, GPS location)
- Project documentation
d) Technical Data:
- Device identifiers
- Log data
- Application usage information
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to use the application’s features.

- Providing and managing application services
- Creating and managing environmental evidence (ZKP)
- Calculating and claiming environmental offsets

4. System Responsibilities and Functions
- The Green Tech Data application is not a verifier or auditor of projects or data.
- The application is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of input data – responsibility rests with the User, project beneficiary, or external auditor.
- The system ensures methodological compliance and full traceability for entered data and generated reports.
- Material responsibility for decisions, reports, offset calculations, or certifications rests solely with the project beneficiary and/or external auditor.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for processing personal data includes:
- Performance of a contract – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
- Legal obligations – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR
- Legitimate interest of the Data Controller – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
- User consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (where applicable)

Data may be shared with:
- IT and hosting service providers
- Auditors and certifying bodies
- Business partners and end clients of projects

The Data Controller does not sell personal data.
